Wafi Energy Pakistan Limited, proudly hosted the 12th Tameer Awards 2025, continuing its legacy of empowering and recognizing young Pakistani entrepreneurs driving innovation and positive change across the nation.

 The Board of Directors of Wafi Energy Pakistan Limited (WEPL) announced the company’s financial performance for the nine months ended September 30, 2025. The company reported a profit after tax of PKR 3,030 million, 

Wafi Energy, a Shell licensee in Pakistan, inaugurated the country’s second retail station constructed using recycled plastic, marking another milestone in its commitment to drive sustainable solutions in the country’s energy and retail sector.

 As part of its ongoing support for NDMA’s flood-relief efforts, Wafi Energy Pakistan Limited provided 5,000 liters of diesel and motor gasoline to NDMA. This contribution follows an earlier 1,000-liter fuel donation provided to NDMA by Wafi Energy last month.

Pakistan, January 15, 2025 – Shell Pakistan Limited has officially changed its name to ‘Wafi Energy Pakistan Limited’, effective January 13, 2025. The Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP) has approved the Company’s name change request and has issued an updated Certificate of Incorporation reflecting the new name. 

Recently acquired by Wafi Energy, Shell Pakistan—one of the country’s longest-standing multinational corporations—hosted the grand finale of the 11th Tameer Awards 2024. The event celebrated and honored enthusiastic and aspiring entrepreneurs of Pakistan.

Wafi Energy, an established Saudi company and affiliate of the Asyad Group, now holds approximately 87.78% of the total issued share capital of SPL. The Shell brand will remain in Pakistan through retail and brand licensing agreements, with SPL as the exclusive brand licensee.
