Umer Farooq has an extensive experience of the Financial Industry in various capacity. His journey began with MCB Bank as Corporate Relationship manager. He then served in Standard Chartered Bank UAE, Allied Bank Pakistan, ABN AMRO the Netherlands, Financial Access Consultancy the Netherlands and MCB Islamic Bank in Business and Risk Management roles. He moved to Pak China Investment Company as Chief Risk Officer before joining Saudi Pak in the same role. After successfully building the Risk Management and Credit Administration functions in two years he has been assigned to role to lead the business development.
He did his BS Software Engineering from FAST-NUCES, MBA from LUMS and MS Finance from the University of Amsterdam.He has interests in building financial models and reading classic literature in various languages.
